Five ways to arrive — pick your favourite.
By Tram
- Take Tram 1 (via Swanston Street) towards South Melbourne Beach and disembark at Stop 31 (Graham St / Victoria Ave), just before Danks Street. From the stop it’s about a two‑minute walk down Danks Street to the temple.
- Alternatively, take Tram 12 (via Collins Street) and disembark at Stop 136 (Mills St / Danks St); the temple is a short four‑minute walk from that stop
By Car
- The temple address is 197 Danks Street, Albert Park VIC 3206. There is limited on‑street parking nearby (observe local parking signs and meters).
- If you are driving from the city, head south via St Kilda Road, turn onto Danks Street and follow local parking options; allow extra time at weekends and during events as parking can be busy.
By Flight
- If arriving by air, fly into Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine). From the airport take a SkyBus or taxi into the city, then transfer to Tram 1 (Swanston St) or Tram 12 (Collins St) to reach the temple (see tram directions above).
- Alternatively, arrange a direct taxi or rideshare from the airport to 197 Danks Street, Albert Park (approx. 25–35 minutes depending on traffic).

With the exception of registered assistance animals, pets are not permitted on the temple grounds.
Parking
Very limited. Public transport or walking is highly recommended, especially for evening visits after 6 pm.

Attire
Comfortable, modest clothing covering shoulders and knees is appreciated. Shoes are removed before entering the main hall — racks are provided.

No booking is required for general visits to the temple. You are welcome to visit during our opening hours. If you would like to visit with a school, class, tour group, or other organised group, please contact reception in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements and ensure your visit is enjoyable and well supported.
The temple features a spacious prayer hall, a prasadam (sanctified meal) hall, a small gift and book shop, and a reception area where volunteers are available to answer questions
No, the temple does not offer accommodation for overnight stay.
Yes. Daily sanctified vegetarian meals (prasadam) are offered to all. Additionally, the Sunday Feast provides a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a delicious vegetarian dinner in a warm community setting.
